My name is Drew and I started Financial Edge with the sole purpose of improving the lives of small business owners. I’ve spent over 10 years in Finance, with 7+ years in Corporate Finance and 3 years managing day-to-day Accounting processes in a small business. Along the way, I spent 5 years in Data Analytics. Most recently, I act as the CFO for multiple business lines that generate $75M+ in annual revenue and employee 200+ people.
In my 15-year career, I’ve found a passion and knack for analyzing data and financial metrics to tell the story of the health and outlook of the business. I use my technical skills to identify specific steps to drive profitability and strengthen the balance sheet, but my greatest asset is the ability to translate those analyses into actionable insights for senior leaders. Finance without data is rooted in bias and uncertainty and data without financial metrics is unactionable. Furthermore, none of it matters if you can’t tell the story.
